Finca La Guitarra is located between two steep mountains in La Libertad Huehuetenango, Guatemala, between 1700-1900masl. Nayo Ovalle bought the farm in 2017 with the aim to improving specialty single varieties like Caturra, San Ramon and Bourbon. Nayo Ovalle, being a third generation, was born into a family of coffee producers’ tradition, and since childhood he lived among coffee farms. Now being an agronomist, he is focused on producing quality coffee in both washed and natural coffee. This micro-lot went through a stringent washed process, and dried on patios for 15 days.
