After coming home to New Plymouth in 2016, I really began to appreciate everything this city has to offer. It has been the perfect place for me to embark on my relationship with clay, and I have felt an immense amount of support from the moment I first began classes at the local New Plymouth Pottery Club. I have felt very supported by local buyers and have been lucky enough to work with various local businesses and artists.

I love living in New Plymouth. The waves we get here are fantastic (I’m a surfer) and I feel grateful to have the flexibility to work from home. This allows me to construct my day around being in the surf and being out in nature enjoying this beautiful town on a sunny day. But, when the weather packs in I’m just as happy hibernating in my studio.
