La Reforma was established in 1904 by Manuel Perez and has remained in the family since. Rene is the 5th generation farmer, and has been working on the family farm for the last 20 years. Rene and his family are dedicated to quality. They are constantly developing new methods to cultivate more productive and resistant plants.

The love for coffee and passion for excellence fuels the family’s age–old dedication to the coffee they produce. As you arrive at Finca La Reforma, the La Chichita section is located at the top of the farm, perched on a steep slope, with views to the Guatemala – Mexico border. Finca La Reforma just achieved outstanding success at the 2018 Cup of Excellence competition, taking out 1st place overall with a Geisha lot just down the hill from La Chichita.
