You’re invited to up your game, learn how to pull spros like an industry pro and get qualified by gaining your New Zealand Speciality Coffee Association Level 1 Barista Certificate at our new Auckland home.

Adopting international standards and applying them to the New Zealand market, this course will give you a solid foundation of skill and knowledge around coffee making, preparation, customer service and general knowledge.

Whether you’re still a learner on the tools, a roaster, run a small coffee shop, work in a fast-paced café environment, you’re a manager or an employer looking to upskill your crew – this certificate is the perfect fit for anyone looking to grow in their profession and skill set.

The course will be delivered by our very own New Zealand Specialised Instructors, Michael and Audrey at our training and cupping lab facilities inside our new Grey Lynn Roastery. It’s a mixture of practical and theory-based classes, and is run across four consecutive days. There are five modules to complete inside the course, with a final exam at the end.
