Think of a bar of milk chocolate left in the sun - this coffee has that intense, creamy sweetness and silky texture, with a red apple note balancing it. On the aftertaste fresh peaches join in for a very well balanced cup.
Farmed by Einer Saldivar and his wife Marisol Huhurtado Gonsales, this small farm is one of the remotest places we’ve ever been. They live in a house a half hours trek down the mountain and use a donkey to transport the picked cherries down to the house where they process them in a traditional washed style.
