Ruby Esperanza Urbano

Ruby Esperanza Urbano
Juicy flavours of orange and lime juice, complemented by blackberry and pear notes & a hint of cacao nib in the finish.
The Pajajoy Urbano family lived on a small farm in the municipality of La Unión, Nariño. The head of the family was Ruby Urbano, an entrepreneurial and hardworking woman who had always dreamed of growing her own coffee. Alongside her were her two daughters, Catherine and Yeli, who shared her passion for the countryside and nature. Binding the family together was her husband, Alberto Pajajoy, who also worked in the fields like Ruby, sharing the same passion for coffee and always supporting his family in whatever they needed.
One day, Ruby decided it was time to make her dream come true and began researching everything she needed to grow her own coffee. With the help of her daughters, they started preparing the land and planting the first seeds. As time passed, the family began harvesting their first coffee beans and selling them in the local market. As they gained experience, the quality of their coffee improved more and more. People began to recognize their brand and consider their product in international markets. Today, the Pajajoy Urbano family is known worldwide for their delicious coffee, which is cultivated with dedication and love.

This Variedad Colombia lot was selectively hand-picked at optimal ripeness, floated to remove defects, de-pulped, wet fermented for 30 hours & finally dried in a parabolic drier for around 10 days.
