
In the region of San Andres, Lempira, is a small initiative group of 9 producers, with the collective intention of highlighting the quality of their coffees. The average size of each producers farm is 3 hectares, and sits between 1,600 to 1,850masl. Today, 50% of coffee grown in the San Andres region is Catuai, followed by Ihcafe 90 and Lempira. In this fully washed coffee, all three varietals have been used to create a full bodied and well rounded finished cup.
With lingering black cherry sweetness and currant like acidity, this coffee has notes of mandarin and dark toffee wrapped up in a syrupy body.
