Introducing Our Pride Edition Supporting RainbowYOUTH

This year’s Pride Edition coffee is here, and it’s bursting with colour, creativity, and meaning. We’ve teamed up with the brilliant Wednesday Holmes (they/them) — a UK-based non-binary artist, illustrator, writer, and community advocate — to create a limited-edition label that radiates queer joy and self-expression.

Wednesday's bold, uplifting work has been featured in places like Gucci campaigns, Google, Disney, or the V&A Museum (London). But beyond the big names, what makes Wednesday’s art truly special is the heart behind it — their unwavering commitment to championing LGBTQ+ voices, mental health awareness, and community care. Every piece they create feels like a warm, colourful embrace, and this Pride collaboration is no exception.

In Wednesday’s own words:

Inclusivity, visually, is always important to me. I wanted to create something vibrant, full of life, and encapsulates community. Through my work, I like to focus on the LGBTQ+ community — on our strengths, resilience, and the issues we still face. It’s important that these things are visualised in everyday items around us.

The coffee: A vibrant single-origin from Brazil

This year’s Pride Edition isn’t just about the label — the coffee itself is just as bold and exciting. We’re proud to feature Brazil Cachoeira da Grama Canario Natural, from Fazenda Cachoeira da Grama, one of our oldest and most cherished sourcing partnerships.

We’ve been working with this farm since 2003 and eagerly await the return of Cachoeira each year. The farm spans 417 hectares, with 64 hectares planted with coffee. Environmental sustainability is central to their approach, with native species planted alongside coffee to maintain ecological balance. The farm also provides a school, a club, a full-sized football field for employees, and 47 modern houses — alongside investments in advanced coffee processing facilities.

The cup? Expect roasted hazelnut and walnut notes running through, backed by the sweetness of milk chocolate and toffee, and just a little biscuit edge. Smooth, balanced, and an easy-drinking all-rounder — you’ll keep coming back for more.

Supporting RainbowYOUTH: Because Pride Is More Than a Month

We’re honoured to partner again this year with RainbowYOUTH, a New Zealand charity that has been supporting queer, gender-diverse, takatāpui, and intersex young people since 1989. RainbowYOUTH works to create safe, affirming spaces where young people can connect with community, access vital resources, and be proud of who they are.

For every bag sold, we’re donating $1 directly to RainbowYOUTH — helping provide support services, advocacy, and safe spaces for young people across Aotearoa.

This cause is close to Wednesday’s heart, too:

I’ve always believed in supporting organisations that challenge the systems making life harder for LGBTQ+ youth. It’s so important we stand behind initiatives like this, especially because they support some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

With so many young LGBTQ+ people facing barriers to safety, housing, and acceptance, this work is more urgent than ever.

This Pride coffee goes beyond a limited release — it’s a meaningful celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and the work still needed to uplift and support it. Every sip helps drive change and show solidarity.

Thank you for being part of this with us. We hope you love it.
