Chelchele hails from the Gedeb washing station in Abaya where they process both washed and natural Yirgacheffe coffee. The station has 140 employees who help process the harvest collected from the 650-700 producers located around the mill. This natural processed coffee is dried out in the sun of the mills 185 raised beds. The Gedeb mill is one of 4 owned by Wonberta General Import and Export. Wonberta is fully committed to conserving the environment through reforestation programmes and the preservation of water sources and the natural eco-system.
