Hodson: A Blend by Ozone Coffee
Hodson was created to honour the early days of Ozone Coffee and to celebrate where it all began.
Back in the small coastal town of New Plymouth, Jamie and Karen Hodson kicked off their coffee-roasting journey. The spark came during a six-week trip through Central America. While visiting coffee farms and meeting growers in San Salvador, they got caught in a tropical lightning storm. As the rain poured and the scent of ozone filled the air, Jamie had a lightbulb moment - this was it. When they got back to Aotearoa, they decided to turn that inspiration into something real.
From day one, Ozone has been built on strong family values and a genuine commitment to the people behind the coffee. It’s always been about more than just a good brew - it’s about connection, community, and doing things the right way.
Hodson is a nod to that original vision and to the incredible sourcing partners we continue to work with at origin. It’s a blend that brings it all back home.
